I saw a fat kid put gravy on a pizza once.

i saw a fat kid eating a chocolate dipped breaded deep fried hotdog.

Like a hotdog on a bun, then that was deepfried (bun included)
then dipped in chocolate.

i felt my arteries clogging when i saw it.

I think I just got sympathetic atherosclerosis... :(
I've never seen anything that heavily fried/fattied. Worst was a dagwood dog which is basically just a corndog.

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

In the US a biscuit is a small baked bread, often but not always a yeast-less variety.

A dumpling is a boiled lump of dough.

Spoiler: biscuits and gravy (click to show/hide)

Wow that's some thick and grey gravy.
Also rather puny biscuits. I'm fairly sure I've ate that kind before, or ones that look suspiciously like them. Not on my top ten biscuit list. Good one tends to be more... vertical. Fluffy.

... most of that top ten list is home cooked. Having had both excellent scones and excellent biscuits, I will say without hesitation that good biscuits match good scones with ease.

Gravy looks about normal for sausage gravy, though. Not much of a gravy eater m'self.

That would be white sausage gravy, a staple of Southern US cooking. Basically flour and grease cooked together with chunks of sausage in it. Sometimes you add stale black coffee into the mix to make red-eye gravy.

Now you understand why it was such a surreal WTF this past week when I had Gary Spivey serving me sausage gravy and biscuits:P

Unrelated happiness to current biscuit/catpuke topic: Today i managed to shit on my lack of self-esteem and pull out my sketchbook in class, and actually draw on it too. Now you're probably thinking like "YO how is that a big thing at all?" to which i say "correct", but i've apparently managed to subconsciously work it into a far greater deal than it is, approximately akin to whipping out your genitals in the middle of a lecture and doing a helicopter (which, mind you, i didn't do). It's actually really nice to know that it isn't such a tremendous thing, i had kind of expected everyone to be like "EY YO MAN U DRAWING WHAT U DRAWING" all up in my face, but nobody actually said anything. Possibly because i was sitting at the back, but still, the sketchbook basically just laid on the table for two hours, with a semi-elaborate landscape drawn on it. Despite the lack of comments, it showed me that it's a totally acceptable thing to do. I've had nagging doubts about that, even though the internet (and the logical part of my brain) tells me otherwise.
