Today I built a magnetic linear accelerator (unreliable and innacurate, and broke many, many Nd-Magnets), a rail gun (which melted the rails and started a few small fires, and didnt actually fire the projectile off the other end due to meltyness - brass wasnt a good choice with hindsight), and a coil-gun (which shot a nail across the lab with some accuracy and reliability, even if it wasnt the fastest moving projectile). The coil gun will now be scaled up later this week to see what I can manage. If I don't post, its as I either shot or electrocuted myself. Good times!

Listening to the new Daft Punk album, I'm not normally into Daft Punk but I really enjoyed this album. My favorite song so far would probably have to be Touch, pretty good throughout though.

I'm happy today because I've basically passed two of my science classes this semester, even though final grades aren't totally determined. The third I'm really hoping I'll pass too but I think I've dun screwed myself not turning in some of the labs.
