Need a decent DEX score, and some points in Acrobatics probably help as well.
Well, for that particular skill check, yeah, plus a fairly decent strength score (you need some muscle to keep something like that steady.). Base initiation doesn't take as much, fortunately.
My hyperactivity gives me a bonus to my Initiative... Does that help???

Reading through all the stories we've all put into Spearbreakers. Truly a fine example of what a community can do. :D

Nope.  I'm actually not thinking I want to watch Dr. Who.

See, you might think that, but you're wrong.
Oh come on, don't be like that. It's just annoying and, personally speaking, makes me want to watch it less.
It's quite a good show. I only started watching this year. Sure, it's a little cheesy in the beginning, but that gets better. It's... Hard to describe what makes it so appealing, but, at least for season 2-4, David Tennant definitely helps.

RE: Dr. Who. I'm going to be a crotchety old man, and say The Original Was Better.

Seriously, despite the low budget, the black-and-white, and the rough acting, I really do like the oldest Dr. Who episodes better than the new series. The story flows continually from episode to episode, and isn't all about these neatly-packaged arc-based stories. And unlike the new series, which seems to be cute people travel through time subverting Sci-Fi tropes, the original just told a story, and CREATED the tropes, since none were around yet.

Now, I have friends who are rabid Whovians, whom I let dress me up as the Tom Baker Doctor once...
...and I understand what they like about the new series; it can be really well-written, and strikes a neat balance between fun, horror, and drama. But even after sitting through a few seasons with them, it has not resonated with me the same way that the old one did. The new one almost feels like fanfiction of the old series; exceedingly well-written fan-fiction, but still derivative of it. Possibly because the new one is written by people who grew up watching the old one.

Anyway, them's my 50 cents, such as they are.

Finished AP Physics B. s:

Well, the test wasn't too bad—4/5, would take again, especially the free response part. Not so sure of the score :P

a. I really, really don't like Moffat.  I do not want to watch His Big Show.

b. I saw a few episodes from a few different seasons and just wasn't enthused.  I just... sorry, didn't enjoy it.

c. The whole "Well, the doctor just couldn't be a gal, you don't get that sort of person from a gal" thing bothered me.  Not enough to make me give up on watching, but it helped.

Any complaints about Moffat are entirely justified and understandable.

He's the current writer of the series. Generally critisized for changing the tone of it too much towards action.

And here Nick is trying to get me watching it.

Eh, if it makes him happy? I have nothing against the show and Tumblr made me curious. I'll give it a try.

Would anybody be interested in me cross-posting Inuktitut lessons from the forum I'm print then on to here? I doubt anyone would want to buckle down and learn it, but it might be fun to look at the way it works.

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

In Greenland, people would prefer to call themselves Inuit (Which means people), I am sure the Canadian equivalent would prefer something else as well.

But, I thought Eskimo means something like 'eater of raw flesh'.

Are you telling me Eskimos don't want to be awesome D:?
