So hey, I'm doing better, compared to that one crazy post in the sads thread.

Yeah, they turned me into a newt, but I got better.

Anyway, I had the mental epiphany I should stop stressing myself out so much and just stop caring over something as silly as "romance" or "relationships". I actually don't feel any sads at the thought, I may have actually achieved apathy. The prom probably sucked anyway. You know teenagers and their taste in bad music and alcohol-spiked punch. 

After taking a three hour nap or so today I seem to have completely got over whatever sads there were in my system and I'm back to my usual somewhat motivated self. Woop.

I'm pretty much over Beanpole, too, which makes me happy indeed.  It wasn't the real deal and I got what I needed to out of the crush (a better sense of my own spirituality and a movement toward being more complimentary towards folks).

Other happy: I just put a huge amount of stuff on hold from the library.  Final season of Star Trek: The Original Series, first volume of Futurama, first volume of Le Chevalier D'Eon, first volume of MASH, first volume of Kill Bill (seen all but the last 20 minutes, but I want to finish), Life of Pi movie.  When I graduate, I am going to be able to just lie and bed and watch TV for five days straight.  And do literally nothing else.

It's Not My Fault That I'm Not Popular!

It sums up my entire attitude up to my sophomore year of high school in such a hilarious way! Tomoko's apparently inability to blame herself for her shortcomings and her cognitive dissonances behind her criticisms of others are fucking hilarious.

Also kinda sad because there are so many people like that who have these issues with skewed self-image and difficulties interacting with people ._.

'Course, the individual gags and chapter-level plots are great, but I'm not going to describe those in lieu of the meta-plot!

It's quite a good show. I only started watching this year. Sure, it's a little cheesy in the beginning, but that gets better. It's... Hard to describe what makes it so appealing, but, at least for season 2-4, David Tennant definitely helps.
