In super happy news, I have listened to lots of Boogie Belgique the last few days and tonight it has culminated in one of the most fun times I've had with Photoshop, a warmup sketch that turned out wonderfully misshapen but full of charachter. I think I'm finally understanding the allure of more abstract painting.

Also, while we're on that note, I'm starting to seriously practice art as of today. The plan is to take month long excursions into uncharted territory and to learn as much as possible. For May, I'll be diving into doing portraits and faces in general, the first piece is underway and while terrifying to do I can see it shaping up to be only slightly fugly (source material helps this, RDJ is one heck of a good looking man).
