At the Hookah bar after classes. Doing homework, being awesome.

Maybe not the best idea, though. The nicotine makes my head feel floaty.

I understand what I'm doing in math again. Kind of. I still don't really know how to linear algebra, but I understand enough to be able to do the homework and be awestruck at how things work out in bizarrely specific ways. Eigenvectors weeeeee

And I'm doing the homework faster, too. I've got it nearly finished on just one energy drink, two chimichangas, and 4 hours of dubstep. I think I'll have time to attend a Magic draft as a reward, even.

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Dude, aren't eigenvectors great?  They're pretty much the only thing I like about lalgebra.

Yes. I am convinced that they are a form of sorcery. I'm a pretty big fan.

I may not be much of an Elvis fan, but having a pool in the shape of a guitar is pretty cool.  Interesting stuff in Graceland in general.  A strange bit of worship in the form of numerous gift shops.

OR is that more "lol algebra" port-manteau'd up it's tiny conceptual asshole? D:

oh god, the creators of math somehow accidently made math laugh back at people as they made it even more complicated...

Came in third at the draft, too. Now, in fairness, it was a 6 person group, and 3 dropped out...

Don't care, I won a match (with somebody who later dropped out), and I got a bunch of nice things.
