I've got no more classes today, a fresh $20 from my electricity-zapping two weeks ago, and there will be a new episode of Elementary on tonight.  Not just that, but I've got plans for a literature course that involve not only

a. writing another 3-4 pages in the bizarre style of the Chinese novel we've been reading, but
b. showing up to class in character in order to help with my professor-mandated explanation of some of the critical texts we've been reading (it's on performance in literature--and I suspect the laurel leaves will make another appearance).  She took me off the text I requested and is making me do this one because it's so dang important, so I intend to give her something to remember.

Speaking of laurel leaves, that's rapidly become the most liked photo I've ever put on Facebook, and because I have an entire crown's worth of spare leaves, the DM of our game is getting one, too   And, speaking of him, we went off at 1 am last night for hot dogs and donut holes.  We were out until 3.

My team is now 2-2. Who are you following?

The Twins, of course.  When it comes to sports I cheer for the local team first; and never abandon them no matter how bad they get.  They're definitely a team that can win 70-80 games this year, not great, but not nearly as bad as the last two years either.
