I know of many wonderful things one can do with milk.

Unfortunately, of the ones involving food, I don't have the makings, or the particular means of acquiring the makings, for them to a degree sufficient to go through a gallon of milk before it starts going rancid. I just don't eat that much, and would generally much rather drink water.

... and of the rest, I'm not terribly interested in that particular subset of shenanigans.

Actually IIRC with the next version of DF you can choose whether or not to have the default "dodge" procedures kick in as opposed to either standing your ground or choosing the direction to dodge. So you wouldn't fall off unless you chose to.

Got really good deal for somebody, they were actually appreciative. I had no idea what to do with this, as most people are 8, 9 or in some cases 11 types of herbs and terrible. Holy crap, politeness and appreciation.... Who'd have thunk* it
