Such a travesty could only be the work of Kojima's sense of humor.  Or MGS5 got railroaded into existence and Kojima has little to no influence on it.  I'd say both are equally possible.

Oh God, starting on Venture Bros. I think a lot of shows like Venture Brothers forget to be good examples of what they're parodying instead of just joking around. Venture Bros. actually has pretty interesting stories each episode in addition to being a parody.
