Hi Vector, I'm doing math! Like, right this minute! I just took a break from doing next weeks math homework to watch this guy talk about math (I don't know why since I know it all) and check the forum.
Dude! That rocks! I'm really happy for you, math-bro!
This semester I'm taking a course in research on surfaces, which is really cool because we pretty much just sit around putting handles and Mobius strips on things. I feel like such a lazy mathematician, lol, but it's a really fun field.
Cool! I'm only doing precalc, which is I think also something I already did (I think I might have taken precalc my last year of high school but I was really depressed and it's sort of a blur), but it's good for getting back on the horse.
I am of course not a super awesome mathematician like you (I'm merely a slightly awesome one), which means I'm still doing my typical screw up a minor thing and throw off the entire answer mistakes. But it feels nice to do something productive and challenging after so long.
I'm also reading the three musketeers in the two and a half hour hole I have in my schedule, I'm enjoying it. I didn't really get around to completing moby dick, the slog of the rambling language just wasn't really outcompeting the draw of the interesting bits, three musketeers is much easier to understand and has a faster pacing though, even if it's a bit less enlightening. It's also sometimes rather funny (if sometimes in ways that were probably unintentional).
And I think that's basically everything you'd be interested in.
Oh yeah also a bunch of Bay12vers have gotten engaged the past 2 months for some reason.
Engaged and theres also Janet getting technically married and not liking the laws that make the technically part of that sentence relative.
I thought they were driving down to washington or something... Eh, doesn't matter, marriage is marriage.
EDIT: Ah, a quick search of the topic reveals she announced getting married on valentines day, that would explain how I missed that one, I was really busy that day (unfortunately not with valentines stuff).
