Learning guitar--you're doing it right.

It really does help to have a good concept of how the guitar works rather than memorizing chords and reading tabs and shiz. Tabs are good for learning a song quick for beginners, but it doesn't teach people why it works, only how to memorize what to do in order to get it.

Next you'll be learning songs by ear and stuff. Then you can teach me how the 'ell to do it.

Also, what guitar is this? Electric or acoustic? What brand? I'm curious.
