So I'm learning to play guitar... Self taught. And while most people take the rout of learning chords so they can play songs, I am focusing on notes, scales and finger patterns.
Anyway, I'm mucking about, and I strum this amazing chord. Most beautiful sound I have ever heard. So, using my new found knowledge of how scales work, I figure out what sort of chord it is, and try the same progression in another scale, and lo and behold, once again amazing.

That is exactly how you should go about it too. Scale practice is basically amazing for every area of guitar.

Skyrim. I mean, duh.

Two monitors are for me, because my setup is sorely lacking, and the third is for my girlfriend. We will both be to three monitors in a week. Also, I'll probably have my bigass tv out of storage and fixed in two weeks.
