I have about six heavy blankets on. I love waking up under a suffocating pile of warmth. Unfortunately, they keep falling off.

Heh, I know what you mean.  Be sure to drink plenty of water though, I can't tell you how many times I've done that and woken up dehydrated the next day.

A cruel angel's honk

Probably one of the funniest things I've heard, and the best part is, I think I like it better then the original song.

They really need to have this on our karaoke listings.  They play Thesis everywhere else in Japan.

Wow, that's really well done. I think Dorito Taco Guy's cover is still my favorite though.

Had a really thorny technical issue come up, wrangled with for about an hour before pushing it up to our advanced technology group. Their manager emailed back asking my manager to please clone me, and stating that the level of documentation I had amassed before sending it up "brought a tear to his eye."  :D

Damn skippy. If I can't fix it, I'm going to let you know everything I looked at first. Cause if I can't fix it, that shit be broke for reals.

Happy End of The World, everyone! :D

Well, End of The World Eve, for those of you in different timezones to myself. Hmm, I wonder if the Apocalypse runs on GMT time? If so, as my brother just pointed out, we get to enjoy our lives for a little while longer. Hmmm.

I smiled. Hehehe. I actually have the book the second girl is reading! I mean, I haven't read it. It was a gift, y'know.

Well, the world could end timezone-by-timezone.
Each different chunk falling into the Abyss as the clock strikes twelve, a coating of destruction just flowing across the planet as it makes one final rotation.
Perhaps the only way to save oneself would be to turn your clock back continually, thus stopping the world from ever ending in your little pocket of existence? I'm sure I could make a fat wad of cash selling people 'world preserving' stopwatches that run backwards if I wasn't so lazy.

Edit: The world ending timezone-by-timezone would make perfect sense if it was the sun killing us. :)

Why would the Mayan gods operate on the date/time structure of foreign white devils?
Plus, like most ancient civilizations the Mayan day began at sunrise, not the middle of the night.

So if Kukumal is going to swallow the sun and bring about the Fifth World, it'll be sunrise at Tikal. Which is on the same timezone as US Central Time.
So, about another 18 hours (~7am CST tomorrow).
