Randomness HO!

After a horrible morning filled with math, headache and madness the day is shaping up rather nicely, even if it keeps raining, that annoying kind of rain that does nothing but get you slightly wet and cold. All the more reason to stay inside, chomp on some sweets and surf and laze around and possibly cobble some art up :D

I've a few problems with that link but it does have a few grains of truth.

Ex: I never hated myself because "I didn't do anything." I hated myself for fear/loathing of what I DID do (or could do).

It's absolutely right that "the world" is a sociopathic monster who only cares about what you produce, though. That sociopathy is institutionalized though, not (necessarily) spread by individuals. You'll have to lick a lot of boots to get anywhere in the world, but the people wearing said boots act they way they do because it's in their job description, not because they're monsters themselves.


Final note: For those with the depression that causes lack of productivity, "just suck it up and do stuff" is NOT the answer. Yes, they're stuck in a vicious cycle, but it's far better to work toward solving/mitigating the depression itself rather than its symptoms (lack of productivity). Productivity will come naturally once the depression subsides. (The notable exception is for those with ADD, as it doesn't matter how happy you are; you're either going to be incredibly unproductive or incredibly productive depending on if you love your work or not.)

Brutal honesty: Because New Guy bought into the thought that his life could significantly improve due to something as simple as an attitude change. That's extraordinarily unlikely if he's legitimately depressed, as I suspect.

Why is this an everyday? I want to drink and party and have fun with people.

Too bad im too socially awkward to do anything but the drinking thing.
Drinking is nice though.

Also im so happy because spanish friend basically took my under her wings.. and its like

and then talking about girls and then ladyfriends with benefits and then other fantaastic stuff
