I have returned to Dwarf Fortress after a short haiatus.  I am happy to see many shiny new things in DFhack, and that I havent lost my touch yet.  (booya 5 z level waterfall going down the central staircase that simultaneously feeds the fortress wells without a floodgate and no deaths!  I still got it!)

Do keep in mind that there are people with resistance to the bacteria that causes cavities in the first place.

I literally never floss, probably in defiance to the dentist who gives me a guilt trip every time I go in there and say I don't floss.

I once scared a dental assistant with the amount of bleeding that happened when she flossed me. I'm pretty sure she thought she fucked up and injuried me somehow, but no, I just have terrible gums.

Yeah... I'm most likely one of those people.

I think there are other small habits that help, though.  I have always picked food out of my teeth with my tongue obsessively every time I eat.  I also make sure to swish water through my teeth following anything sugary, which I've heard can make a big difference.
