I made bread, only instead of water or whatever other liquid you're supposed to use, I used a vegetable slurry rich in beets. I did say "experimental".

One of the local "pretty girls everyone mutually agrees is pretty" (there's almost always at least one in every class, you know there is) walked up to me in my drawing class and asked for a hug, justifying it by saying that it was her senior year and that she "always thought I was cute."

And less grain, and more working. Imma cut out most of the corn flour and replace it with wheat next time, and drain the liquid off the beets so that I can put more of them in without overly increasing the stickiness of the dough, which was already really close to being unworkably fluid and sticky. Also, it turned out to be orange - apparently the betanin in the beets broke down, which is sad.

You lucky bastard. You've got a potential hook up there too, if I got the message correct (she made that blatant as hell; I was never that lucky. They were more subtle than a sniper in camo in my cases.). Go for it. For those of us who lost, or never had, such an opportunity.

After all, she always thought you were cute. She's lit like the 4th of July. I say go for it. What do you have to lose? I mean, even if you lose, there's the 'nice guy' thread you can contribute to, or gain insight from, and try again later.
