I just got done with the last part of my 12 hour Black Friday retail work. My toes are bruised and still hurting, and I don't think I can bend down anymore without suffering PTSD. I had to spend 4 hours doing recovery aka picking up all the crap people left all over the place aka being forcefully confronted by my OCD tendencies. Put things away really sucked since I had to go around find where things go when there is no rhyme or reason for where they put things (there was one brand that I'm pretty sure they just used to fill empty spaces) and some places where there was really no way of knowing whether or not an item would actually belong there. But at least I had a very helpful semi-official supervisor who was able to direct me to the vague direction of where things were, and he took the time to teach me the store's way of folding things.
