Guitar solos, I love them.
Among the Rhapsody of Fire people, this one might or might not be called "Luca Goes Nuts on Guitar"
It's... it's beautiful...  :'(

I'm near the end of my shift, and a guy wearing a batman mask randomly pops around the corner.

I stop dramatically.

He stops dramatically.

We stare for a moment before I turn around and run down an aisle, with him in hot pursuit.

When he caught up to me, he and his friend asked, "Hey, do you know where your fake mustaches are? We need one if we're going to make a wrestling show or a porno - We just haven't decided which one, yet."

I think a moment before saying, "Well, I can only help you with one of those."

"Please tell me it's the porno!"

I love people with a sense of humor.

That's an awesome tale, Knight.

My happy for today: I'm getting disturbingly good at Unreal Tournament 2004. I just did a 1v1 Deathmatch with a bot on the highest difficulty level, and perfected it.

Played my first gig today, in front of about 30-40 people.  I wasn't exactly channeling Cliff Burton but then I wasn't channeling Sid Vicious either, you know?  Overall I'm satisfied, nobody noticed my mistakes (I messed up on the intro to the very first song -__-), and it was a general success, so I'm happy.
Oh, and the chicks were practically throwing themselves at me afterward.  Not really, but I did get some looks :P

Congrats! I noticed that about a handful of ladies after my first gig too... which I couldn't understand because I was probably the least classically-attractive guy on stage. Perhaps it's a music thing?

Anyway, here's to many more successful concerts!

I currently have a tray of potato wedges, onions and garlic in the oven waiting to get nice and crisp.

Drove today for the first time in eight months. (Haven't needed to recently.) Good to know my skills haven't rusted.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

I think I'm in love with someone. Unless there's a better reason to have a week of restless nights thinking about how much you want to be with them.

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

There are others, but it's unlikely you're inflicted with any of them.
Good luck with any future adventures!

If it isn't because you've got a deepseated desire for revenge against them, probably. Good luck.  :)

Yes. It has only very slightly lessened in intensity.

I have watched Cloud Atlas, which I would describe as a parody of Quentin Tarantino's films, as written by Andrew Hussie, which is definitely not at all misleading.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.
