I didn't realize it. Or at least consciously acknowledge. I like to think the tiny nautical metalhead in the corner of my soul knew all along.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

-snip-
I'm in the same boat as you. I understand that this sort of procedure is more critical than a simple nose job, and the cost is an unreasonable thing for someone to be burdened with just because of how they were born. On the other hand, I can imagine healthcare is going to be burdened enough just paying for things people need to stay alive.

That is something that does make me happy. There is an actual smile on my face now.

Same here. Being straight does not equal being an uncultured slob. But, then again, I support gay rights, so the video wasn't directed at me. :D

No I think the point was they will marry all our girlfriends. None will be spared! So you better write more letters to your political figure head, or else!

And being gay doesn't make you a cultured.. uh, something.

Though I guess it's hard to imagine a gay guy with a mental disorder who lives off welfare, doesn't get anything done ever and forgets to shower once in a while because he never leaves his home unless it's to buy food and drink and yeah I've just described myself.
