I remember trying Arena, but not managing to figure out how to move. Or look around.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

Lookit what I just found.
Just me or does the gameplay look quite awkward?

I've never played a fighting game with flying characters that ever did the actual fighting well.

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

They're a wee bit late to the wrecking twilight stuff party.
Still, good to know anyway.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Watched a pretty awesome horror/mockumentary that delved a bit into Norwegian mythology. A line that comes to mind, paraphrased:

"What's that?" [gesturing to a bucket filled with dark liquid]

"The blood of some Christian man."

And then the credits rolled.
I remember seeing that. Was one of the best monster/comedy/horror/whatever-the-fuck-it-is movies I've ever seen.

The Space Cowboy Supershow is now going live! Cowboy Bebop, Episodes 1 and 2, followed by the Firefly pilot episode. Catch you guys there!

The internet is made of cats

In a bizarre coincidence, I just discovered this a few hours ago as well. Despite the number of cats now powering it, it's still a small internet after all!

Spent an hour or so writing a ruleset for a tabletop version of Front Mission.
Then I realized that the way I'm thinking it, a single machinegun attack with 10 shots would take about 31 d100 rolls to complete(although a third of those aren't technically d100, but 2d10-10), and a machinegun can make two attacks a turn :-\.

Yeah, the controls were complete ass. Daggerfall did it much better :P
Heck, I re-binded Daggerfalls controls to be more like Morrowind's.
