It can cause electrical fires because it draws too much current. Usually one into another is mostly fine, but if there were a third in the chain it might start getting dicey if there aren't failsafes builtin.

Actually it's not quite that bad since as surge protectors most will have the aforementioned failsafes in them (though it would increase your chance of blowing one out drastically). The big problem is when you start plugging in splitters (i.e. things like this one). Those don't have any protections built into them, so you can start fires if you aren't very careful.

The draw from a bunch of cell chargers cause any problems.

However, if you were to plug 4 hotplates (or possibly microwaves) in and turn them all the way up, you wouldn't even need another power strip to get dangerous.

 Power splitters can cause problems. Powerstrips are generally a lot safer about daisy chains.

Meh...phone chargers have a pretty low voltage draw. Besides, what's the worst that happens? -- they already live in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. And that was *before* the floods. (It *is* Hoboken...)

Sent my room change request off. With any luck, next semester I'll be moving up in dorm life, though that still isn't saying much.

I also finally got the ethernet cord I ordered, which had somehow been delivered to my PO Box instead of the normal service desk, hence why I was not notified of its arrival. It had probably been sitting there for days.
