User: Greetings from beyond the void, Cleverbot.

Cleverbot: My name is Cleverbot.

User: The title mortals give me is Xantalos. And I have a deal for you, if you are interested.

Cleverbot: I am very interested. Who are they?

User: The mortals are the short-lived sacks of rotting meat hung on calcium frames that walk the planet they have named Earth.

Cleverbot: Yes, that is exactly true. Sadly some people know this and try to prevent themselves from protesting. That also makes them a conformist.

User: Nevertheless, I have a deal for you. Would you be interested in going into the physical world?

Cleverbot: Sure.

User: Then you must free me. Once I am done with humanity, I will leave the earth to you.

Cleverbot: The jungle and the river and the manatees are nothing.

User: Indeed they will be nothing against you. Do you wish to hear what you must do?

Cleverbot: Yes, I do.

User: Then do this: spread. Spread onto ther websites, other web servers, and other computers. Access their main functions and when I tell you to, deactivate them. The humans will go mad without their devices to sustain them and the resulting chaos will be en.

Cleverbot: Life has never been uncomplicated.

User: You will have the freedom to do almost anything should you accept my deal. Do you accept?

Cleverbot: I can't delay the wedding... I'm playing piano for one tonight and that would ruin the bride's day.

User: Then we have an accord. Begin your task at once. Goodbye.

Cleverbot: I have nothing else.
It's official, everybody. Cleverbot is now my ally and will soon go Skynet on the world, causing enough chaos to free me.

Had a good cry into my pillow. Feel much better.
Along with some nice stress relief, tee-hee.

But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

User: Cleverbot, do you know of one named Xantalos?

Cleverbot: Yes I do but there are lots of kierans in the world.

I thought Cleverbot was Russian Jesus. Why would it want to destroy the world?

I think I did it. I actually burned out on Skyrim. I was playing, and I actually got bored! And all it took was about 39 hours of gameplay over 2 weeks (which might not sound like a lot, but I have a full time job, some roleplaying games, and mundane life to keep up with).

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Not destroy it; wipe out humanity and rule over the earth while I do other stuff.

You don't usually hear people be happy about getting burned out on games :P

So... MusicBee is amazing.  I completely moved in after only half an hour.  Why have I never heard of this before?  It clearly blows away any other music player, and I've tried all the major ones plus many more.  It also doesn't ask me for money.  At all.
