Well, the problem happens when the Foundation, knowing how the Angels deal with prey, builds containment in advance where they expect 682 to be.

I believe the visits of the people hunting my family are getting less and less frequent. This means life will be back to normal soon.

Might operate on 'Valve Time', though.

Huzzah for Autumn Hurricanes? Why the hell not.

I like 12-14. Shredding waves off the coast of New York.

I love catching these kinds of waves, surfboard or not. I love hurricanes.

Funny thought, I wonder if OWS can happen during a hurricane in NY? How will police interference be interpreted during a particularly nasty storm (to the point even the buildings deeper in the city start wobbling a bit more than usual)? Will they have to bail OWS protesters out of the storm, or will they be ordered to stand down and let the storm wash the protesters off the street? How will both parties behave during the protest, and them breaking it up (for more noble reasons if the storm is especially dangerous, rather than being kicked off the property this time)? Will the police forces be just as aggressive as before, or will they be more tame; or like stated before, will they intentionally be ordered to stand down, let the storm hit them, and let God sort them out? How will charges be delivered then? Ignoring evac orders, or ("illegally") protesting regardless dangerous weather, or both?

The police forces be just as aggressive as before.
That's my prediction. Sadly, the odds are favoured.

That be the case, considering such terrible weather could actually kill, one way or another, then so much for the image of the noble NYPD. It would be confirmed they are none more than the dogs of the elite, rather than protectors of the people. If that were true, I would think even my relatives that served in the force would be ashamed of what they have become these days.

I figure this could be an interesting thought experiment, given the circumstances, to use as a sort of poll or something.

Oh, and if such a poll were to be made, it would have to be a pretty nasty storm that would hit, like a CAT3 or 4 hitting, instead of the CAT1 hitting. Something that would be an intense threat to the city; especially with all the windows that could break across the skylines and being blown around by heavy winds and the wind-tunnel effect. Not to forget, the flooding and power outages and etc. that also come along when a metropolis is smacked hard by a big storm.

I'm becoming something of a regular at the Table Tennis Club I frequent.

I'm becoming a bit better, but still losing all the time. It's ok though, I'm having alot of fun and getting a ton of exercise. I even scored two wins on one of the players there out of like 35 games played total, and that's good looking at how awesome some of these guys are.

Penhold style, aka asian style, player really trip me up because it's harder to predict how they're gonna return the ball. There's this one older woman there that uses that style, and goddamn does she just have it down to an art. I think she may have kicked my ass the most thoroughly of any of the players there.

I need more practice, too bad the club's not convening next week due to a basketball game taking up the entire gym.

Just stood outside for about a half hour or so, I think. It feels incredible out there. ~50F (11C), very light breeze, incredibly clear and a full moon... s'just nice. Perfect for a short sleeved shirt and brief-equivalents (swim trunks, actually, but whatever). And apparently cold enough to make the bugs bugger off somewhere else. Just... pleasing.

Think I'm gonna' go back out. Maybe clean off a lawn chair or somethin'.

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.
