Where I live a can of Coke is about a buck fiddy.

Depends on where you buy them, school vending machines sell them for 0.7€ while other places have prices up to 1.5€which is about $2.

No, you aren't being specific enough. Where are you that there a school vending machines with sodas. There weren't any at my high school except for one which only worked after 2pm.

That's funny, our vending machines stop working after noon at the latest (because they've been emptied out by then).

My Vending machine has soda and cookies. And fruit too, but that sells worse, mostly because its the most expensive thing there. And, you know, fruit.
