I love it when people insult you in a foreign language that you or one of your friends just happens to be fluent in. Fucks them up big time.

Oh god, David Sedaris wrote a bit about that when he was living in Paris. Awesome stuff.

Soon the sun shall cease setting on our glorious empire of Great Britan. The heathen hordes of the rebel indian provinces were no match, especially after their hard-fought war with their previous lords. No independance for you, and more Ducats for us!

While the seizing of trade stations in India commences, new british colonies are starting to sprout up in the as-of-yet largely unexplored Americas. As we don't need any colonists to work in india -the natives doing all the work- our nation has seen fit to bolster their numbers, and help defend against violent native savages.

Speaking of savages, the ones in the American Colonies seem... peaceful. Not at all what we expected after the debacles in africa and greenland. If this holds, we may be able to incorporate them into our empire. More souls are always welcome in Great Britan, so long as they are willing to hear the word of god.

As for God himself, he seems to be of split mind these days. Almost immediately upon the turn of the century, peasants and nobles alike began to clamour for reform in the church, and our Lord seems to have allowed it. The protestants, as they call themselves, seem like good men and women, but our cardinals assure us that they are heretics, and to convert would bring about the end of time. Our king has decided to let the heresy stand for now, but we will quash them at the first sign of trouble.

Our friend France to the south has become a juggernaut. The last century was spent devouring their vassals into greater France, and now they have turned their sights to Africa. Perhaps they will come into conflict with Castille... We can only hope. If a war with Castille is begun, we will assist as best we can, though with no Cassus Belli we cannot take any territory. We can distract troops, however.

Grand news from the east! With the discovery of Kyoto and the Japanese people, we may finally have found the edge of the world. They tell us that there is little out in the Pacific but scattered isles and water. We won't waste explorers on that at this point; it's far too far away from any friendly ports, even if we could figure out how the Japanese handle military access treaties. Instead, we will explore southward, along the chain of islands known as "Indonesia", passed up by tales of great riches to the north. They spoke of the Ming dynasty of China, who are very large. Quite possibly larger than the old Golden Horde before they were beaten back by one of the small russian states (how did that happen?).

Alas, until the conquests in India have concluded, all these great empires of the east are out of reach. Our small base in a even smaller island in the south serves as a reasonable diplomatic outpost, but there's no room to grow it into a trade port. Hopefully we can begin trade by 1520, or sooner.

I... think that's a compliment? The goatee will look better in a week, once it has grown in some more.

Why did Janet put Pylon in the title? I don't think there was any traffic or starcraft things recently.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.
