Just found an awesome channel that teaches you how to make food.

I never knew that I was serving watermelon so wrong, nor that you can make cheeseburgers so easily.

He even has a way to end world hunger.

I honestly never knew about this guy, but it's kind of scary how harsh he is with that food. Maybe it's just all the SQUISHYSQUIRTYMUSHY sounds that it creates when he's manhandling the inside of a watermelon like a violent deranged Gallagher, it's just a little unnerving.

Yeah that was what I felt too, the watermelon video slightly disturbing. :S

New glasses get! Hopy shit, everything is so clear and distinct. Quantum physics is no longer intuitive and obvious!

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Also:
Redbull is attempting a super high jump, predicted to break the sound barrier. Can't describe how giddy this makes me feel, holy crap they're doing it again :D

Huh, so they're actually trying to get a guy to break the sound-barrier with just his own body today, and streaming the descent. Pretty cool birthday present, world. Thanks.

The brutality is a sign of confidence, it doesn't matter if food is properly cooked so long as you're confident...
Well, it might matter if it's meat, so there is that. But what's a little food poisoning, right?

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

RIT lab internet. <3
100% downloaded in under 15 minutes. :D

I'm also wondering what language Steam's download service is written in... it devours ~1GB of RAM when downloading at that rate, implying either some complex decompression scheme or a garbage collected language taking a while to clean up after itself...

It's like an xkcd what-if, only with more bloodthirsty cats. (Actually, I'm wondering if someone will submit this question as a future what-if...)
