Wallace and Gromit in the curse of the were-rabit.

"He may look innocent, but left to his own devices, he's a vegetable destroying machine."

That one was excellent. I love Wallace and Gromit.

Hah, I remember those books. That was a good way to make the whole 'talking animal' schtick involving.

LW posted this in the RAGE thread in response to all the (Perfectly justified) EA-bashing.

Thrive is an Indie project widely inspired by the concept behind Spore. Though Spore was initially billed as a realistic, scientific game about evolution, the final product got watered down until it had practically nothing to do with science or reality. Thrive aims to succeed where Spore failed. Thrive will be a free, open-source game created by an online community of dedicated volunteers. They seek to accomplish two major goals: create engaging, compelling gameplay that respects the players’ intelligence, and remain as accurate as possible in their depiction of known scientific theory.

YEEES

I would sell my kidneys to fund a game like that.
I'm not holding my breath, to be honest. Isn't there at least one other indie project with a similar idea that's been vaporware for years?
it turned into vaporware a while ago.
That...sucks.

Actually, it's already finished.
Psh, that game sucks. How the heck do you start building up a mana meter? Why is there no option to disable perma-death, or more stringent controls on ganking players?

Man, I'm pretty sure Thrive showed every single sign of a soon-to-be-vaporware indie project.

Just got invited to ladyfriend's apartment. If I'm not back later, assume the worst. Or the best. Either way, do a fist-pump for me. :P

If you're not back in several days, I'm assuming either serial killer or the time of your life.

When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

There's something deliciously fun about repeatedly undercutting someone to force their prices way down, then buying their entire stock out and reselling it for three times what you paid.
