You just need to be driving a VW van with shag carpet in the floor, and you'd have a bona fide love machine.

happy news: I finally decided to download Dwarf Fortress again and in the process decided it was time to check out what was happening on the forum. It's been a loooooong time - in fact, I haven't paid a visit since early April and I haven't been really active since winter 2011

What vice? No vice! What two (or more) consenting adults do in the back of a shag-lined VW conversion van with tinted windows is their own business!

Congrats! Off the record, were you talking or "talking"?  ;D

No, no, just talking. The verbal kind. I do have tinted windows, though.
Nice. Well, now you have that idea in the back of your head for future dates.  :P
That idea is always in the back of my head. Even when I have no date, and I'd just like to contact someone at random. "Hey! You! In the pink shirt! No, the other one! I have tinted windows in my car!"
I have a pink shirt... :D

All my shirts are white, but you can't tell because they're stained crimson with the blood of my enemies.

I now own a Nexus 7. No idea *why* I decided to spend £199 on this thing but it lets me read my completely legitimately obtained pdfs on the bus to work, and I've been wanting to get into Android development for awhile now, so I'm not unhappy with this purchase :)

A local grocery store carries pumpkin-spiced apple cider.

Obviously, I have to ferment it. It's even preservative free, so that's a thing I can actually do.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

This just makes me miss having a full sized bed and fridge full of booze in my vehicle. I miss you baby.

Oh man, I can't think of selling her for scrap in the happy thread, now I've got tears welling up. But still, happy memories...

On another topic: I have a pink shirt now, that did in fact start as a white shirt before being stained with the blood. A wee bit too much of that belonged to my brother, the idiot. :P
