A gaming club started at my school today, had a lot of fun with this one marvel boardgame from the 70's. A lot of people were disappointed that they hadn't set up the video game stuff yet, but apparently it'll show up eventually.

Heh, one of the kids who organized the club told me about something called heroclix that sounds pretty fun. Though he also said that if he brings it to the club it's just gonna be for people who already know the rules to play since it's so complicated or something.

...I'm kinda looking forward to them aquisitioning some computers so I can show off DF.

Reading about Cicero in my rhetoric book, notably, Cicero on humor, gave a wonderful example he used:
"The notorious Titius, who was devoted to ball-play and also under suspicion of mutilating the holy statues by night: when his associates missed him, as he had not come to the Playing Fields, Vespa Terentius apologized for his absence on the plea, 'He has broken an arm.'"

Oh, Wikiquote on him is half humor, half profound statements, give or take a few out of date statements, with some overlap:
"That, Senators, is what a favour from gangs amounts to. They refrain from murdering someone; then they boast that they have spared him!"
"Indeed rhetoricians are permitted to lie about historical matters so they can speak more subtly."
"No man dances sober, unless he is insane."
"There is nothing so ridiculous that some philosopher has not said it."

So, I just got back from my date. Well, sort of date. So, we went out to dinner, and it was lovely, and we closed the restaurant just chit-chatting. Then, we went to go to a bowling alley just down the street. It closed as we got there. So, we spent half an hour in the drizzle talking. Then, we got the idea to go to a bar. The bar we went to was already closed. So, we hung out in the parking lot. Talking. For five hours.

It was nice, but next time, I hope the venue is indoors. It's about 55f/12.7c here.

Just reinstalled morrowind with the addition of a massive graphical pack as well as some other minor mods.
Bit too late to try it now, but really looking forward to getting back into it tommorow.

Man you too? I was thinking of getting back into morrowind since the nostalgia just kinda punched me in the back of the head, but it's just so... Dated now that going back seems weird. Decided I'd give New Vegas a replay instead.

Will you take a trip to Solstheim?  It's a terrible place I've heard, there's a boat from Khuul if you have any reason to go.
