Constructing a stupid MTG deck. The details don't matter, but the point is that if it works everybody loses simultaneously, even me. I call it my thaumonuclear deck, because I am okay with shamelessly ripping off words from science fiction stories I read on the internet.

I'm kinda dismayed that probably more than half of my collection is rotating out of standard on the fifth. Now my already barely competitive FNM decks just got thoroughly gutted, left to die in the pool of their own blood and tears.

I'm gonna have to take the few things I have going for me, and be massively clever in how I do it if I want to win any games ever again. Just hard with an expensive hobby you enjoy too much.

The best thing ever happened today.

I turned on my MP3 player and hit "play all music shuffled". It played all the music, alright.

At 400% the normal speed.

The quality of my picture kind of sucks, but they have finally arrived.

Also, the software for my webcam got deleted due to reformatting, so I had to use some strange online service to take the picture, and it gave me super neat filter options (like kaleidoscope and film strip).

Me and Misko got in a hamfight over at the FINAL BOSS rtd, and ti only took 7 or 8 pages to be resolved! Yaaaay.

Sifting through all my MTG cards to discern what is still legal for standard use, I've had to completely take apart my old MBC. Now it doesn't have any bombs and half as much removal. That makes me sad.

What makes me happy is after taking a thorough inventory of my collection, I've transitioned it into a Dimir Control pile that I've affectionately titled "Be fucking patient man, I'm getting there", because this is a very very slow control pile. Fortunately I'm a very patient man, and while the wincons may make others scoff, I'll be riding them to victory. Riding them VERY SLOWLY to victory. Perhaps I'll just frustrate my opponents into conceding, as I did one time with my original MBC.

Just need to test it out in Cockatrice with someone.
