Finally, new computer is up and running. It was a battle to get it, Dell customer support is absolutely shocking. But anyway, I had forgotten the joys of pressing a key and having the character appear on the screen instantaneously. Also, TF2 is happily downloading in the background (albeit slowly xD)

Ahaha, yeah. That trailer... someone had fun with that game. Seems a classic example of 'nerdgasm', really. That's the dark beast that powers fanfiction given form in a videogame.

There's no way that can go wrong~

Yeah.  I watched about half of that, and my foremost impression was that this game is a pure labor of love.  Too bad it's a type of game I have a lot of trouble getting into, but I could watch those wonderfully crafted sprite personalities and special effects go at it all day.

The wind outside's so strong that it actually closes windows instead of blowing them open. I need a kite.

We had a brief spell of really strong winds earlier. I had headphones on at the time; suddenly stuff started blowing off the windowsill/cabinet/table near the window someone had left open.

Also I have a few happies. I've been more sociable than usual lately for some reason, eating breakfast downtown etcetera. Also I booked my ticket to that concert I linked a while ago. Oh and I learned some new chords on my ukelele. And let's not forget about my two new cats. :)

Mists of Pandaria happens.
Bought the digital deluxe version.

Say what you want about this game,
but I have been looking forward to Pandarens and Monks since WoW first launched.

Dsarker founded it. Flying Dice runs it (despite it needing pretty much 0 moderation).
Mostly I mess around with the header image and theme when it's late at night and I'm bored.  :P

Good news: the new developer in the office is absolutely gorgeous. Petite yet curvy, long blond hair, great face.

Bad news: I am trainer her, therefore i can't do anything about it.

But once training is over....you can teach her to write the PGP-key to your heart. Or something. (i know next to nothing about real programming)

My boss is leaving next month to go help his family run a bed-and-breakfast up in Charlottesville. I iz envious.
Sad to lose an awesome boss, but damn...that is a career change I'd kill for.
