Porcine means "pig" or "pig-like." And "when pigs fly" is a common phrase meaning something will never happen. If pigs are flying, something previously thought impossible must've happened, like getting a raise.

Not really. I've read enough Irregular Webcomic! to become immune to joke explanations. Which reminds me, I should really get back into that...
