Well, yeah? Dude gets seriously messed up when he was younger, but he still, upon finding out he has a child, wants to spend time with the kid. He then sacrifices himself to save his son. He's a pretty cool guy.

he force-chokes underperforming Imperial officers and doesn't afraid of anything.

But what about Emperor Palpatine? He was just trying to make the galaxy safe and peaceful for humans. Do you really want your children having to take orders from a Hutt? Or some other thing that looks like it should be on a dinner plate instead of waving a blaster in your face and demanding money?

Problem was the Emperor was making the galaxy safe for humans by trampling on the rights of just about every other sentient species out there. He also approved of mass terror tactics; he once gave a dude a promotion for landing his freaking Star Destroyer on a group of peaceful protesters.

Ok, but Palpatine knew what he was doing and that he was a jackass. Nobody manipulated him; he manipulated everyone.... Worse? He could've totally manipulated Vader without causing half as much damage as he did, both in general and to Vader himself. I mean really, Vader would've been much more useful to Palpatine without the battle damage if nothing else. Nevermind all the other shit he could've made better like having Vader save his mom by having him arrive a lil sooner. That doesn't even count starting a massive war with how much in casualties, property damage and messing up the life of pretty much every being in the galaxy.

The Hutts? Dude, Star wars has an shortage of women and an abundance of bounty hunters. There's gotta be an easier, cheaper, better way of killing Jabba. Hell, he probably eats like a horse, like a particularly fat elephant. Poison, undercooked food (salt?), man, Leia manages to kill him herself while chained up.... Sluggo McSluggerson over there was never palpatine's goal or if he was, then why did he never get around to it? :P

He also wasn't making the galaxy safe for anyone. he was actively building things to blow up entire planets, at least twice that we know about. :P Also he used that crap to blow up an entire planet of humans. :)

Sounds like Emperor Palpatine would poll quite well in Arizona.

Every other species that wasn't human. I fail to see the problem.  :P

The Hutts, or at least the ones like Jabba, were heads of organized crime syndicates. They would be hard to get rid of, wouldn't go down without a fight, and contributed large sums of money into the local governor's pockets. Basically, it's like how the mob still operates today.
And at least one person was actively poisoning Jabba at the time of his death. He's just very very tough :P

Well, now, of course you know, I'm just gonna have to be screaming at my screen the next time I see him and just be all like, "SALT! God damn SALT! Dumb bastards have space ships and lasers and crap but nobody remembered salt kills slugs? Give him pretzels!"

You know, other than being used by Omnicidal maniacs, the Dark Side gets a lot of crap. Isn't the Dark Side "powered" by emotions, and not even neccesarily negative ones?

Well the Force is partially based on some of that Buddhism mumbo jumbo where you're supposed to throw off all desire to attain enlightenment. Thus, the "light" side of the force is in being calm and at peace, while the "dark" side is chaotic.

So Anakin could only use it if he was fighting sand?

Well the idea behind the death star was ensure stability by making sure every planet was too afraid to rebel for fear of being blown up. It was basically the distant past-future equivalent of a nuclear weapon, but he knew he had to use it at least once, and he chose Corruscant as an example because that way everyone would know he meant business. It might well have worked had those extremists not decided to do a suicide run and blow up the single largest economic investment the empire had ever made.

True, the reason the Emperor was doing this was to make sure he stayed in power and in control (Sith lords have a crazy obsession with power and control), but along the way he was bringing safety and stability to the galaxy...

There may be some flaws here, but there is a bit of an argument to be made that the rebels were the bad guys all along.
