I'd seen pictures of the bark colored ones before, but this is the first time I've encountered one in person.  I've only seen green ones before this.

I fed it a mealworm... and then it leapt to me and didn't want to leave me for several minutes.

I just got done watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Although it's a bit weak in the beginning when everything is pretty much identical to the original anime (mostly because of the way certain plot points and secrets are revealed, the pace of FMA feels more satisfying than early FMA:B). After seeing everything that was done in the first series done a bit shorter and a bit worse (though not actually bad, for the most part) the series starts doing it's own thing (which I hear is actually more like the original manga's thing), and it gets better, then awesome, then freaking epic.

Although the first anime had better pacing and a pretty good story, I think I might like Brotherhood a bit better, because it has great characters not seen in the previous anime (or not fleshed out as much, in some cases) and a great story. I'd still personally recommend watching Fullmetal Alchemist before watching Brotherhood,though, since the beginning of the later ruins great twist revelations of the former.

Basically: the first anime overtook the manga, so they did their own thing. Brotherhood was based on the manga.

Set rules and punishments for missing so many classes. A lot of them penalize you a letter grade if you miss more than 3/4 classes in a semester or something similar.

It's that thing that can get you failed out of a class if you don't pay attention to it. Having one is either a really good or really bad sign. Not having one says either terrible things about the class, or terrible things about the teacher.

Anyway~

If you're not just joshin', some teaches only let you miss a certain number of days (especially if you're lacking a legit reason for it) before they start lopping off chunks of your grade. Attendance policies lay out the details. And peng, just make sure the school itself doesn't have a base one before you start blowing it off

The bad side is that this typhoon is really serious about being all in our stuff. >30m/s winds, 300mm~500mm rains (one third of the year precipitation in Jeju)... ripping roofs off, knocking towers over, the works. o_o

It's very calm and windless here, because the storm is absorbing all the clouds into its body only to unleash it later.
