I do not pity the GM. That's a ton of PMs to manage every night.

Also it's awesome.

Drastically smaller workload every night. This thing is expected to end in two weeks.

Buck up friendo, we're all on the level here.
I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.

Presumably you'd run each ship as a separate "game" to some degree.

Participating in a mafia game of 60 players involving five ships, a movement/equipment system and three factions of townies, scum and zombies. Some townie decided to be a dick and slam one ship into another.

Twenty players dead instantly, half the ship is dark so only the players in those sections know what happens in them and zombies are taking over the other half of the ship. My character is currently on fire.

 But alive!
This sounds like an amazing mafia game.
Agreed.  Do want.

It's an incredibly useful technique that will crash the computer if you aren't careful with it.
That really describes any programming.

Wait, does each ship have a captain running it or something? Because otherwise I don't really see 60 players giving anyone less work.

From what I've seen games having more than 20 people never end well.  Or at least, are very long

I'm happy because the massive amount of dice I ordered should be arriving tomorrow. I am also amused because when I checked the tracking data it's listed as 2 pounds while the items altogether should only be 1 pound. Here's hoping they crammed more dice in.

Someone in the "What is the best..." thread linked this picture. I have no idea how that can be a natural formation but I love it.

Bismuth has a squarish crystal structure, and its oxide layer has the same effect as water on oil, resulting in the iridescence. That image is, incidentally, my desktop background.

In some ways that's part of their charm, though. You get a few days of wanton chaos, then the survivors play mafia.

The kitchenette mold free, you move on to the pantry. it's nasty in there. The bacon is grazing on the lettuce. The ham is having an illicit affair with the prime rib, The potatoes see all, know all. A rat in boxer shorts smoking a foul smelling cigar is banging on a cabinet shouting about rent money.
