One of those doctors that works on back and joint problems by bending you into a pretzel.  :P

I kinda expect them to send me fitness/exercise-related stuff. Zombie-related stuff, not so much.

You know those guys in martial arts movies who hit pressure points and bend limbs certain ways to stun/maim/kill people? Basically that, only they charge you for it.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

I'm sorta concerned that there isn't a separate word for the quack ones who claim chiropractice or whatever the noun is cures all ills, from cancer to the common cold.

A chiropractor is a masseuse that pretends to be a doctor in order to scam people out of money.

There are a couple of things they can do good on, but they're not miracle workers.

To be fair, they're not total scams. They can work wonders with various spinal problems. A good portion of their customers though just want to get their backs popped; same reason I'm popping my knuckles right now (only it's free).

Okay, we're going to do a spinal adjustment now...

Less yakking, more cracking.

Yeah, I'm going to one because I royally fucked up my back (double entendre pun intended :-\) last week.
Getting my spine adjusted is helping me not turn into Dr. House, complete with limp (they can't really do anything about the snarky, misanthropic asshole part...that was a pre-existing condition)

That's because there's not actually a difference. In order to be a chiropractor you need to be an adherent of their kooky religious beliefs, but the good ones only pay it lip service and focus on the useful bits.

What you call someone who isn't an adherent is a Physical Therapist.

Somebody on another forums compared our 2fort server with a penis.
Its currently unstable and not running sourcemod, due to pyromania breaking it.

"its going up and down like a penis!"

i laughed so hard.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

Visited the weekly open air market in the neighboring city today; beautiful weather and plenty of wares for sale, I bought some weird local salsa and looked at some woodcrafts and fishing rods.

The salsa itself is mango/rasberry/something else; and is very sweet, good, but not what I expected from salsa.
