I half-jokingly looked behind me.

No Janet.

Unless she's morphed into my toaster.

So far we've established:

  • Max is tiny. Hilariously tiny.
  • Janet is tall. Very tall.
  • Janet owns a five-foot-tall oven, perfect for cooking dwarves or Max.
  • Janet is a terminator of some variety, with a penchant for consuming human flesh.
  • Janet is a transformer too.
  • Reudh is strange.

The oven is also a transformer. It's her partner in crime or something

I'm like 6'1" and probably down to 140 or 145 now? I was just over 150 when I started exercising.

No, Janet does not turn into a toaster. She turns into one of these, but people-sized.

I get to see the only other living descendant of the Struck family (tied to me, I mean. Its a German last name but we're more recently Dutch) this weekend, my cousin James. My entire family died off in the last 10 years, freak accidents and disease abound. I finally get to reclaim my father's ashes, my grandmother's letters to my long-lost sister, and my father's military gear from Vietnam. Most importantly, I can actually find out who my father really was, since he died when I was 7-8. I knew him as the sweetest guy in the neighborhood, a geeky bald guy who liked his budweister and a good Tom Clancy novel. I didn't know and still don't know much about his seriously f'd up past regarding his ex-wife, his military career, and his younger days. Since my last older relative died 3 months ago, my 30-year old cousin is the only person left who knows anything at all about our family.

I'm just relieved that I finally get to put my demons to rest and fulfill the quest I promised myself I'd accomplish when my father died; re-discover my sister and uncover my father's history, therefore my own roots.

I'm very anxious, if not nervous... I'm afraid of meeting my sister turning out to be a terrible idea... Or, considering my father suffered from horrendous PTSD issues, that my Dad had one hell of a f'd up story.

Oh well. I need to know the truth so that I can finally put my childhood to rest... And so, the truth will be known this weekend.

Dear gawds I'm nervous.

You are terribly, terribly underweight. You'd be classified as anorexic, actually. Hell, I'm underweight at 160 and I'm 5'10".

Anorexic has a specific meaning, and being thin isn't enough. You can actually be fat and anorexic. Of course, that's assuming you mean anorexia nervosa.

If you mean true anorexia, that depends on a number of other factors, including his metabolism and body type. But even that definition relies on something other than weight as the defining factor.

As far as I can tell, the classification for 'too thin' is , well, 'too thin'. Anorexic is another thing entirely.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

I wouldn't be called anorexic because I don't starve myself, or undereat at all really.

And I haven't had any health problems or anything from being underweight, so I see no problems.
