In real life?

Rabbits have little gurgles and growls occassionally, and they can THUMP when they want to make noise. They also make a chuffing noise when happy.

I believe they can also shriek/scream (haven't encountered it myself)

Tutles... depends on the turtle, I think.

Yeah, they scream. It sounds kind of like a demented cartoon scream.

I'm trying to think of movies to watch with my new lady friend, but my preference for amazing old things is showing, and I'm not sure she'd be into it as much as I am as she's more subscribed into the modern style that's prevalent in movies nowadays.

I'm not sure, so I just started getting my favorite movies into one pile: The John Carpenter classics collection like They Live, The Thing, Village of the Damned, Prince of Darkness. For action I got Mad Max 3 Beyond thunderdome, Escape from New York, Where Eagles Dare, and A mess of Stephen Chow flicks. A touch of comedy wouldn't hurt, and she likes outrageous things so I thought I'd pull out Pootie Tang, but I'm not sure since it's kinda obscure if awesome. Then Dr. Strangelove on the top because goddamnit why not, we might watch it.

Does anyone else have any ideas? I seriously can't think of anything that was made in the last 10 years, and I'm lost, just completely lost trying to think of movies that couples watch.

I can support Kaijyuu's Kung Fu Pandas. Another good comedy would be The Big Lebowski. But really, just ask her what she likes and let her pick (before or after you've watched some John Awesomepenter). You don't have to provide for everything.

I appreciate the advice, though I'm not sure how good these childrens movies are. I mean, Pixar has upped the ante wayyy more than I would have guessed in this day and age, cause I remember watching How to Train Your Dragon, and that was awesome.

How to Train Your Dragon isn't Pixar...

Also, we're on page 1618 from where I'm standing. oh yeah..

I've got a couple of scars on my face. Four, fairly neatly spaced, nearly vertical, razor thin lines from just above my left eyebrow to my cheekbone. You guys already know the story behind that, though. The bridge of my nose where my glasses sit has a scar from being thrown off a roof and landing on a rake with my face. My left cheek is a mishmash of tiny, barely visible scars from taking so many punches that cut me open. My knuckles and fist area are a mishmash of scars, mostly from giving so many punches, although two are from a freak rotisserie accident from when I worked in the deli at Meijer. There's the one on my thigh from the prybar, the burn marks up and down my arms and back of my neck from my brother, and the left side of my back from the chainsaw. I've got a couple of little ones across my ribs from my cousin (captain facekick) smacking me around with a bike chain. My knees are all scarred up from rollerblading with no pads on. My shins are scarred up from Muay Thai. I've also got a permanent rope burn on my neck from a failed suicide attempt.

Man, I'm glad I'm covered in body hair, or I'd look like a Roman Gladiator. O_o

Man, all this scar talk. I barely have any; the only really notable ones is one on my finger where I cut into it really deep with a knife and one on my throat where I was stabbed with television glass while carrying it.

Okay, cute screaming 'AHHHH!' rabbit's appropriateness in the happy thread may be debatable, but THAT...  :-\

You should probably spoiler that behind a 'DO NOT CLICK THIS IF YOU JUST ATE' or something.

I removed the link. I think I underestimated how disturbing it would be to fellow Bay Watchers.

Now back to your regularly scheduled happy.
