You would never know it was the dog down the street that mysteriously disappeared the next day.

Ok so anyone else enjoy raw meat around here?

This reminds me:
The thing many westerners overlook is that dogs used in meals are bred in farms just like cows, sheep and pork. They do not nab random dogs off the street and go make stew with them, because the potential risks are too high, they apparently don't taste good, they don't have enough meat, and it's just distasteful. >.>

Disclaimer : I personally do not like canine meals.

canine flesh? Gave me diarrhea.
What? :P Canine flesh doesn't give you diarrhea, if that dog was properly bred like a cow in a facility and cooked well.
It was a wild/feral dog in Upstate New York. AFAIK, we don't have factory farms for dog meat here in the midwest (Michigan), so I'm not going to give it another shot. I had gone four days without food, and it attacked me.

Holy crap, why did I not start watching One Punch Man earlier? This is the best thing.
probably figured an autobiography wouldn't be interesting

Lucky you people with dog farms for their meat. Over here, I don't think any exists, so you can guess where things come from.

I like bloody steak as much as the next guy, but overall not really. The cheaper meat I usually buy is probably so pumped up with additives that I'd be weary of eating it without properly preparing the stuff. I'm not opposed to the idea though, I've always fancied myself as open towards new foodstuffs.

I wouldn't mind trying bear if it wasn't so expensive here.

I guess you could say, you were in a human eat dog situation.

Distasteful?

It's better than the time I tried to get part of a deer and almost got my face ripped off for my efforts.

A bit of a bad pun, but I personally don't see an issue with eating dogs if they're raised on a farm specifically for eating.

As for eating wild dogs on the street it really depends how desperate for food you are. If it's all there is I might.

I have never hunted for my food...

Is that a good thing? I have always wanted to go hunting, but aside from catching a King George Whiting (and about 3988394839 toadfish, poisonous) I have never myself killed an animal to eat.

I do cultivate vegetables and fruit though in my family's backyard. (If ever you are in Australia, Max, or any of you for that matter, I would be happy to give you some home grown vegetables or fruit.)

2nd test run of the chicken batter went better than expected. The chicken actually was breaded!

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.
