I bought a crappy $20 digital camera. I almost want to take it back for a refund because the battery cover slips off way too damn easily on the part that's supposed to snap in, causing all the pictures to be deleted.

But I also got a haircut the other day. And I have pictures to prove it.

I miss my hair. My head is cold :(.

... Yes, the hugs are for everyone.  No stabbing, though.  Just hugs.

That neck breeze is a wonderful feeling. Plus short hair requires practically zero maintenance. Long hair really is a vanity item. Not that there's anything wrong with a little vanity. I can't really say I miss my foot long, as fun as it was at times.

I might cut my hair when it gets past my ass. Probably not, though. The only situation where I really would would be of the "OHFUCKIT'SCAUGHTINTHEMACHINERYQUICKGETMYKNIFE" variety.

Well to be honest my first reaction to the prospect of losing my hair was a serious inquiry into the possibility of joining a religious cult to preserve it. I really felt like I would be losing a part of that which makes me myself. Eventually I got over it though.

Katakana is for foreign words.  I guess it's to keep it separate from Hiragana?  Manga sound effects use both anyway.
You do sometimes get foreign words that happen to be the same as Japanese words.  You'd be able to tell outloud from emphasis but it could be awkward written down.  Besides, how else would you achieve the CAPS LOCK effect.

My hair is around two feet long. I only trim it to get rid of split ends and stuff.

Bought a blender, for smoothies and milkshakes. Initial attempts have been promising. Need to work on emulsifying smoothies, my first one of which separated out into two layers (both quite tasty though), while the milkshake simply needs a higher concentration of ice cream next time.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Mars bars make for divine smoothies. I can't offer you a recipe, but it shouldn't be too hard to just wing it or google something.

So yeah, lightsabers are a thing that exist now.
But only with ridiculous lasers and warning up the arse about how dangerous said lasers are.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

What, you'd prefer lightsabers that aren't dangerous?
