Huh. There was a sequel thingy. Also, things learned: Kataang canon shipped (damn), new avatar apparently gets tiny harem, Aang gets awesomebeard. I can roll with this.

Should probably get around to watching the bits of th'first one I never saw, eventually.

Whether or not you like it, the music is awesome (mostly), and theres a music megacollection torrent somewhere according to tvtropes thats so big it breaks utorrent with sheer filesize, somewhere like 1 terabyte or so.

I played EVO today. It was fun, even though I came in third (out of four players) at the end because of my tendency in strategy game to want to improve my economy, so I bid low and went for the scrolls so I could spend less points while bidding higher, and went for movement and special abilities (the one that lets you have three dinos as your minimum rather than two, and the one that lets you choose your initiative spot) rather than attack power or temperature resistances (I only had a single gene for heat and attack, and nothing for cold. That meant I couldn't have as many dinos survive each round as other players, and I couldn't make space for myself when things got crowded or knock people down to my level.

Ah, EVO: Search for Eden. Some of the worst controls, collision detection, and level up systems to ever "grace" the Super Nintendo, but it remained strangely compelling. Probably due to the batshit crazy story.


Never heard of the other EVO though.

And the most atrocious level of necessary grinding to ever besmirch gaming as a whole. I have no idea whatever compelled me to finish it all the way through.

The fast forward button and PAR. As with many games, it's fairly enjoyable when you can just excise the annoying parts
