Meh. Getting a good job is all about finding something you love and getting paid for it. It doesn't matter if you're an artist, a cook, or a scientist - If you can survive on it, go for it. Societal expectations of what's "smart" are a little too narrow to be a good basis for determining you're own intelligence and/or potential.

Just look at a number of historical figures who abandoned comfortable lives to become artists, philosophers, or follow their dreams, and you'll get the idea. Forget what society thinks and do what you enjoy, whether it's considered "successful" or not.

Don't ever do something or think you have to do it just because it pays well, or because someone wants you to. Success isn't a measure of pay grade, it's a measure of how happy you are doing what you do.

An asteroid about 50 meters in diameter... of the Carbonacious Chondrite type, that has 20% ice typically, would have enough hydrogen and oxygen... to power every one of the space shuttle flights in the history of the space shuttle program.

Here's a copy if anyone missed it; I restreamed it to my Livestream. They're aiming to mine for Platinum and Water primarily, one being for relative scarcity on Earth, and one being fundamental for life in space.

I'm happy because Biag and I are both making progress on our coding-buddy projects.  I'm on schedule, or just a tiny bit ahead; my puzzle game engine has got promise, but there's still a good ways to go before it's interesting.  On the other hand, it's built from the ground up to be networked, so I could implement Puzzle Fighter/Tetris Attack pretty darn easily.  (That one is not on the list though.)  Biag's platformer is not far from playable: it doesn't have nearly the logic he wants yet, but it could become a game right quick.
