Today has been a momentous day for me. My script that I was writing for Script Frenzy just hit 100 pages today. That's about an hour and a half worth of movie. I'm feeling pretty fucking ecstatic right now. I never even knew I had it in me to write anything that was 100+ pages long. The funny thing is that the story in the script is essentially only 3/4s of the way over, so I'm going to continue writing even though I've already beat the script frenzy challenge for this month.  Procrastination means nothing to me. My fingers are of Iron, and even the hardiest of writer's block's has fallen before me.

So yeah.

100 pages.

Hell. Fucking. Yes!

I have a question for anyone that might have an answer: Is it possible to select a large number of images and save them all at once? I tried something to that effect but to no avail. I finally got some motivation to begin planning out a forum game, and I don't want what little motivation I have to get whittled away from monotonous image collecting.

What sort of context are we talking about? If it is something where you're taking screenshots, you'll need to paste them into an image editor and save them individually, of course, but...

I'm getting alot of old Fire Emblem character sprites, but the only sites that have them are old ones that have them listed individually, and there's like a hundred to a game. I intend on altering the faces and such to create unique characters since I have little artistic skill myself, but something that simple is within my ability.
Here's an idea. If you're using Firefox, try right-clicking on one of the images and select Image Info. You'll see a list of all images, links, etc, on the current page in a pop-up window. Shift-click to select them all, and click the Save As... button. It might work, haven't tried it myself.

This actually worked perfectly. It DL'd all the images from the page, and all the images from all the other pages on the website as well somehow. Thank you very much.

DownThemAll is rather useful if you're doing anything in bulk.

This is a bit late, but I got back from the "happiest place on Earth" yesterday. I went on a whole bunch of rides and stuff. It was super cool and all that.

So I'm well into reading The Maxx.  I'm really impressed with how much there is to appreciate about this story and the style of writing as compared to when I was 13 and 20.

After Salmon got me looking at my city libraries collection of comics (They had all The Maxx books listed, except some ass "lost" the third one) I found Gunnerkrigg Court and a truly frightening amount of manga. Also Why the fuck is this a thing. And why the fuck does my city library have a copy?

Also Why the fuck is this a thing.

Because Manga is filled with androgyny... and when it comes to androgynous characters, Stardust-era Bowie pretty much takes the cake.

I've always been curious to check these out. I've heard they are surprisingly not bad.

Live in Winnipeg and have a library card apparently.

I just found a Manga so obscure it doesn't have a Wikipedia page. IN A LIBRARY IN THE MIDDLE OF CANADA. HOW IS THIS A THING.

We have a full set of Warcraft comicbooks, a manga based off the Darren Shaw series, A mange based off of Gossip Girls, a series of Comics based off the concept "My boyfriend is a X" X being some form of movie monster and a comic book about Cthulhu. And this is only 250 into a total of like 5000.

So yeah now I have proof that all librarians are massive nerd.

Oh dear fuck Twilight comic. Why.
