Watching movies is like drinking; if you're doing it alone, you're in a sad situation.

Watching movies alone is a lot better than watching one with people who don't like it as much as you do. Or even worse, with people who talk during the movie.

Damn straight.


If I want to watch a movie, I want to be sucked into another world for a couple hours. If I want a conversation piece, I'll pull out a board game.

This is the way it goes. A good movie should be watched alone, or possibly cuddling in silence with a loved one. A bad movie (and it should preferably be very bad) should be watched with a group, popcorn, and plenty of ridicule.

If you want the bad movie experience while alone, you should watch MST3K.

Completed Alan Wake, although I haven't played the DLC stuff, and I probably won't.

I enjoyed it, although I have to say I found it more funny than I did scary. It might have helped if the enemies didn't come at you while spouting educational facts... But I can't really play scary games anyway, so maybe that's for the best.

The music Poets of the Fall did for the game was pretty nice, I really liked "The Poet and the Muse".

Yeah, Alan Wake's more suspenseful than scary.
I haven't done any of them but, I've the DLC's worth while.

The programming software my teacher is makes us use is called MatLab. My primary problem with it is that it has to be purchased in order to use, and the only stations available for use in my school close after 10pm.

Today, however, a fellow student of mine cued me in to a free program that basically does the same things, FREEMat! All hail freemat! Make me forever happy!
