It's funny that 5000/3000/1500 is a decently landmark number for all page counts. For instance, 1000 pages on 25-per-page is part of the way through page 1667 on 15-per-page (default).

Also, I found out what that "darkling" meant. Going to stick with default though, its nice to have upper and lower boards with different themes. Or mayby I should change to tjat theme with just 5 other users... Would be quite hipster.

Found out I conditionally passed my qualifying exam.  At first I was, "Yay!"

Then I read that means I passed part and failed part.  So now, I'm, "Yay?"

Think I might have to retake the part I failed.  And I think I only get two tries... oh well, guess I'll be bugging the graduate directory of the department tomorrow to figure out how screwed I might still be.

I've actually switched off from Darkling myself recently. I've been here what, like 3 years? It's been black and grey long enough.

Anyway, just finished watching Raocow finish up Nitroid. Besides taking a LONG, LONG time I'd say it's one of his best video sets.

New monitor! $140 for a 23" 1920x1080; so fairly typical. Though it has 300 cd/m2, so it's nice and bright.

Darkling theme is nice. *irony warning* It makes the forum a color which doesn't melt my eyes late at night.

Nice, yes. But goddamn blinding if the room is dark enough. Darkling is better for that for the same reason the Dark Youtube theme is.
