Wow.  That scenery is fucking nice.  This is something I would genuinely like to see turned into a full fledged movie;  assuming the team that made the short in the first place was on the big movie production crew, of course.

Impressive animation to be sure, and nice find.  I have no idea what that device was invented for, but the animator obviously incorporated it to justify missiles that travel at the speed of plot.

Why are robots are always such bad shots?

Don't worry. When (well, I think we have a few limited models already...) real killbots get around to being constructed, they won't be missing.

Also, dammit Guild Wars is 2 gud.  It's everything good about an MMO, with everything bad cut out.  But I've only got 45 minutes left on my trial, and I'm trying to ration it until I get a chance to buy the full game.

Targeting is easy. A monkey hanging his face on a keyboard can program targeting. Identification is hard, very hard. Figuring out what is a human, and what sort of human you should or should not shoot at is a very hard thing to do.
It is easy in a game, because everything exists in a digital environment where that sort of information is not only available, but the entity they are shooting at is a composite of that information. You can practically skip identification, but real life is a bitch.
