I was working with some Poles in a Polish food warehouse yesterday, emptying a truck containing Polish food from Poland.

It was a very Polish day.

My boots have arrived! And they fit! Later today, I'll find out if they are comfortable, and if I can conceivably hide the calf-covering bits under pant legs in case they conflict with the dress code at work. If so, then as long as these things last 6 months or more, they're saving me money on shoes, and being basically superior in every way at the same time.

Work is switching to a new automated system. The old one...well...it wasn't very good. The new one comes with a smartphone app.
