Looks like the information I'm looking for is possibly in the historical figures stuff... which I suspected but was unable to locate in memory.  Perhaps I won't have to do it the hard way now!

Felt tired after work.  Got in my car to go to school not really up for it, but knowing that I will have trouble passing if I miss a section.

Get to the school and the gate is closed and there are no cars in the lot.

I check the website on my boss' 'keep this so I can contact you in an emergency' cell to see the school website.  Immediately after I click the Google search link to the school, before it even loads the text, I realize...

I have invented a new word.

Tired of lumping together black moderates with power, European progressives, and Russian radicals under one umbrella term? Now you can use a new term for the second of these: sjöcialism. It's socialism, but Swedish. It's what you use when you want to refer to democratic leftism without dipping into Tea Party territory.

So I just found Platypus 2. (Google it, I can't find an 'official' site )
And it turns out it's kind of awesome.

For reference, Platypus is a side-scrolling shooter with wonderful 'claymation' graphics. Seriously. I love them. It's also got some pretty good music, but barely any plot. Platypus 1 had fairly meh gameplay, but Platypus 2 adds so many things~ Like flamethrowers!

What? No, it's simple! "SJ" is a kind of "SCH" sound, and "Ö" is pronounced almost like the "OE" in Goethe, or a French "EU", like in "musketeur", or the "U" in "purple" (at least in the way I pronounce it, which is likely accented).

The word also means "sea-cialist". So it sounds kind of like some sort of water focused environmentalism.

I remember there were two books I wanted to look up, but I was too nervous to talk to the people at the info desk to ask if they had them, and I couldn't find them in the aisles (where do you look for a specific translation of "Phantom of the Opera" anyway? I didn't want a generic translation since the internet claims they're all the same crappy one).

I did see this book, however... I'm not sure I could actually bring myself to read it, but it does look interesting.

I ran a session of my homebrew game tonight! ^_^ I mashed together old rules and new rules (and shit I made up on the spot >___>) and it wasn't completely terrible. I have a week to get more done on the new rules.

Happy day!  Using the link Japa provided before, I was able to figure out enough to force dwarves to marry.  Well, so far I can only repurpose existing relationships, but I just made a dwarf marry herself.  Then her son.
