Zubat turns into a bigger bat, those catapillers turn into a butterfly or a giant bee, depending on which catapiller it is, and wtf, catching a zubat is NOT the hello world of pokemon, you don't encounter them until you go into the first cave, which is after 2 or so routs, (I only play first gen and in first gen there's route one that has ratata and pidgies, then the bug forest that has caterpies , weedles and pikachus, THEN you go into the mountain, which has zubats, geodudes, clefaries, jigglypuffs, paras, and I think thats it.
(I started playing pokemon red on my phone like 2 days ago, and I just got out of the mountain, is why I remember it so well)

And yes, what version are you playing? and how do you like it so far?

Blue. I quite like it.

I have seen a few pokemon tv shows. So I know the most known ones. Especially Jigglypuff and Pikachu

What are y'alls favourite versions?

I'm thinking of picking up and Emulator and Rom of Pokemon, but I can't decide.

I've only played 1 and 2 gen extensively, plus a bit of Pokemon Black.

I only play gen 1, I've played gen 2 before and a remake of a gen 2 game, but ONLY used gen 1 pokemons and half the time didn't know what the hell I was up against because I don't know any pokemon past gen 1.

I've beaten Pokemon Leaf Green, Pokemon Red, Pokemon Blue, Pokemon Yellow, and I'm currently Playing Pokemon Fire Red on my phone.  I liked Pokemon Yellow the least of the 5, because in that one you actually play as ash,  other than that they're all pretty much the same.
and of gen 2, I beat Silver, and .....Pearl? I think it was? (the remake of gold)

gen 1 is best gen.
