Probably because it was a big fish. Sharks tend to be like that.

Daughter's daycare has been doing Dr. Seuss week in honor of Theodore Geisel's 108th birthday tomorrow. They asked the kids to bring in any Dr. Seuss books they have. My daughter got to feel like a bona fide badass, because she brought in more books than all the other kids combined. We loves us some Dr. Seuss in our house. She's bringing in books most adults have never even heard of (e.g. Scrambled Eggs Super!, Thidwick the Big-Hearted Moose, On Beyond Zebra!)

Worked on my roguelike some more, fixed the previous problem with just a few simple lines that don't actually do anything. Ah well, it works.

I know I'm late to the party, but I'm a fairly pure mix. My mom is all Polish, one of my paternal grandparents is pure Irish, and the other is half Irish half German. I believe all of my great-grandparents were born not in the US.

Fun Fact: My grandmother's family was minor nobility in Poland. By which I mean her family had a floor in their house rather than all dirt.

Saw a hawk/falcon/other bird of prey glide off a lamppost then drop into a field.

I'd think a hawk would be a rather difficult snack to bag, but to each his own.  :P
